Beyonce scores steak in her home city

While in Houston watching the Rockets fall to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA playoffs, native daughter Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z scored eats from B&B Butchers on their way out of Space City. According to the Chron, the duo had an assistant pick up king crab, calamari, brisket ravioli, corn souffle, and banana pudding (among other decadent dishes), all of which was whisked directly to their private jet before it left. Actor Wilmer Valderrama was also spotted at the restaurant over the weekend.

Barnaby's Cafe heads to a new location

Beloved local eatery Barnaby's Cafe will open a new outpost at 1936 Fountain View Drive in the coming months. According to CultureMap, the second location of Barnaby's Cafe will take over the space formerly occupied by short-lived spot Eatalia, and is set to open sometime in August.

Dun Huang Plaza lands a new Sichuan seafood spot

Omari Hardwick asked about giving Beyoncé a double kiss - Page Six

Posted: 10 May 2019 07:12 AM PDT

The Beyhive came after Omari Hardwick after he gave Beyoncé a double kiss at the NAACP Image Awards, but the "Power" actor is taking the backlash in stride.

Hardwick, 45, and his fellow cast members, including 50 Cent, La La Anthony, Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton and Lela Loren, appeared on "Strahan and Sara" Thursday, and host Michael Strahan brought up what he called "kissgate."

"I've done that before, but the Beyhive came after you," Strahan said before Naughton, 34, jumped in, saying, "They tried to come for my boy — my husband, my TV husband. He was just being a friend. Why can't friends hug and kiss anymore?"

50 Cent then joked, "He just got excited, man."

"Beyhive, you're welcome," Sara Haines added. "That's Omari Hardwick. You get two kisses? I mean, just say, 'Thank you.'"

Aside from laughing along, Hardwick remained quiet for that part of the segment and did not directly address the criticism.

Following the NAACP Image Awards in April, a clip surfaced online that showed the actor giving Beyoncé, 37, two kisses on the cheek in front of her husband Jay-Z.

Fans claimed the "Single Ladies" singer appeared "uncomfortable," but Beyoncé has not commented on the incident.

Beyoncé Ups Her Courtside Style With This Cool Parisian Label - Vogue

Posted: 12 May 2019 10:38 AM PDT

On Friday evening, Beyoncé, along with husband Jay-Z, attended an NBA playoffs game in Houston, Texas. (It was the Golden State Warriors versus the Houston Rockets; the Warriors won.) Ever the fashion maverick, singer left her sports jersey at home in favor of a more daring look: a statement bodysuit. And she chose a style by a cool, Paris-based label to do it. Talk about courtside chic!

The body-clinging piece was by Marine Serre and was covered in the brand's distinctive half-moon logo (it also featured ingenious built-in gloves). The eye-catching print is proving to be a go-to with celebrities—Kendall Jenner wore Serre's gloves to Coachella last month.

To play up her graphic catsuit, Beyoncé leaned into a futuristic vibe. She paired it with a black patent coat, '90s-style sunglasses, and dainty ankle-strap heels that were barely visible against the print, but lengthened her legs nonetheless. Meanwhile, a globe-shaped handbag, also by Serre, had the words "Hardcore Couture" printed on it; it is the title of the designer's most recent Spring collection, but also perfectly describes Beyoncé's sports-game look.

Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy chimes into grandma Tina Knowles' Mother's Day video - Daily Mail

Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles was recording a Happy Mother's Day video this weekend when she was interrupted.

Blue Ivy - whose parents are Bey and Jay Z - popped into the clip, which also featured Kelly Rowland, 38.

'Don't forget all the beautiful daughters... which I am!' said the spirited seven year old.

In a sunlit selfie video, Kelly opened the clip with a warm 'happy Mother's Day' kicker.

She lounged next to Tina, stretched back on a white couch with the sun beaming into their eyes.

Rowland wore a long sleeve black shirt and had her shining hair in tight braids.

Next to her, mama Knowles had her makeup done perfectly with long lashes and red lips.

Her hair curled in waves as she wore a patterned yellow collared top for the Mother's Day celebrations.

'Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful mothers out there,' Tina echoed as Kelly pointed to the mom of Beyonce and Solange Knowles.

As they talked, a little voice from off screen over powered them in the distance.

The voice, belonging to Blue, screamed an opinionated reminder.

'Don't forget all the beautiful daughters… which I am!' the child yelled.

Laughing at Blue's tenacity, Kelly commented on how she was of course getting her two cents in.

Beyonce became a mom to Blue in 2012 and shares her with husband Jay Z.

They also have two other kids together, twins Rumi and Sir Carter, aged one.

The couple have been married since 2008 and are now going strong after news of Jay Z's cheating scandal broke in 2014 when a video surfaced of his sister-in-law Solange attacking him in an elevator.

Missing from grandma Knowles' video was Beyonce herself, who was likely busy with her numerous work endeavors currently underway.

It was revealed earlier this month that Beyonce would be partnering with Adidas to re-launch her Ivy Park athleisure range.

She teased the re-launch with the release of a short fashion film titled Homecoming Weekend.

A lot of the new looks are reminiscent of the pink and gold outfits from Bey's 2018 Coachella performance which she designed with help from Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing.

Along with selling sportswear the collaboration aims to '[inspire] and [empower] the next generation of creators, driving positive change in the world through sport and identifying new business opportunities.'

The singer, who serves as creative partner for the brand, said in a statement earlier this month: 'This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,'

'We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.'

The Ivy Park fitness collection debuted in 2016 as a joint venture with Topshop's Sir Philip Green, with an initial line of leggings, bodysuits, tank tops and sweatshirts.

Beyonce’s Hair Makeover: She Debuts Dark Locks & Fans Beg Her To ‘Keep It’ - Hollywood Life

Beyonce ditched her blonde curls for dark brown locks and fans are freaking out, begging her to keep her new hair because they love it so much!

Beyonce, 37, looked flawless when she debuted a brand new hairstyle at the Houston Rockets vs. Golden State Warriors game on May 10, when she sat courtside with husband JAY-Z. We almost didn't recognize Bey, as her hair was the darkest we've ever seen it. She opted to wear a black skintight Marine Serre Moon Print Top, with little red moons all over it, paired with skintight matching Marine Serre Moon Print Leggings. On top of her look she donned a black patent leather Dries Van Noten Vinyl Hooded Jacket, Saint Laurent Amber Edie Sandals, a Marine Serre Rubber Ball Dream Clutch, and a K KANE Custom Chain Letter Necklace, personalized to read 'BLUESIRRUMI.' While we loved her look, we couldn't help but notice her brand new hair makeover.

Beyonce's hair colorist, Neal Farinah, posted photos of Beyonce with her new do, writing: "Dark hair Beyonce: Summer color hair trends color done by me." Meanwhile, her hair was actually styled by Nakia Collins, who threw Bey's new super dark hair into loose effortless waves. Bey posted her gorgeous new hairstyle on Instagram, and thousands of people headed to the comments section, begging her to keep the new, darker color.

Just a few days before debuting her new dark locks, Bey was rocking super blonde curls, which she has kept for quite some time. So, when she took to Instagram to show off her dark brunette locks, people were blown away and so many fans rushed to the comments on all of Beyonce's new dark hair pics writing, "KEEP THE DARK HAIR!!!," while Ashley Graham even commented, "Love the dark hair!!!," and Winnie Harlow wrote, "Okay brunette."

Beyonce always makes a statement no matter what she does and whether it's her revealing outfits on stage or her regular everyday looks, she always manages to pull off any look. We love this new darker hue on Beyonce, and we think it's the perfect choice for the spring.

Beyoncé Pushed Courtside Style to New Extremes at a Houston Rockets Game - W

When you're as much of a basketball fan as Beyoncé Knowles and you attend a game for your home team, you get your own walk-on music. And when you're as much of a basketball fan as Beyoncé Knowles and also you're Beyoncé Knowles, you have to dress for the occasion.

On Friday night, entering with husband Jay-Z (the artist formerly known as Jay Z, formerly known as Jay-Z), Beyoncé strolled across the court to the tune of their duet "Crazy in Love," taking a seat in the front row. (Game of Thrones actor Emilia Clarke was also there, coffee cup in hand.) Beyoncé showed up in a head-to-toe Marine Serre look: a set of skin-tight top, leggings, and gloves in the same all-over red crescent print on a black background—the Houston Rockets team colors—so that barely an inch of skin was showing. All that was missing was the matching balaclava that walked the runway during the designer's Fall 2019 show. She paired the intense look with heeled sandals and a black trench; Jay-Z, at her side, wore an Off-White "99" hoodie and New York Yankees snapback.

Basketball basically runs in the Knowles-Carter family: Earlier this year, pro player Kobe Bryant recalled playing one-on-one with Knowles patriarch Matthew Knowles in the days of Destiny's Child; Jay-Z is a part-owner of the Brooklyn Nets. At one point, Beyoncé was reportedly eyeing buying a share of her hometown team, and she's obviously passionate about college athletics. But courtside seats at basketball games are also something of a status symbol for celebrities—and Los Angeles-residing ones, especially. Bella Hadid, Justine Skye, Kendall Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, and Drake all love taking in the occasional game, and Rihanna's perhaps the only one who can rival Beyoncé's courtside style (and energy).

Anyways, despite Beyoncé basically showing up as their mascot, the Rockets still managed to lose, but the singer clearly did her part for the team.
