September Beauty Favorites

September has been a bit of a slow month for me...I'm quite a bit at a standstill with wedding planning and job hunting. I'm in one of those moments where I am wondering if I'll ever get anywhere. Hmph. That's what happens when you have a lot of time on your hands. I actually didn't get picked for a position I applied for, not even an interview. What sucks about it was that I applied for the same exact position and got picked for an interview in January. However, my mom has assured me that this is the season I am in right now, and in God's will I will find a job. But right now, it's not meant to be because I am here to help my family out. I'm like a small housekeeper+babysitter. They couldn't do this without me. I just have to trust God's plan for my life even if it means waiting.

It's going to be a bit difficult not buying makeup in October because of my birthday, but I can do it! Okay...so did you here about the Urban Decay Rainbow Palette coming up? That's going to be released at sephora.com on October 26, my actual birthday. I'm drooling...

I'm so excited for fall! I've always loved fall, because of the cooler weather, the leaves, my birthday, pumpkin/cinnamon/nutmeg everything, warm makeup, Thanksgiving, and how romantic it is! And to me, it's transitioning to winter and Christmas time, and starting anew. And boy will 2017 be a big year for me.

What have I been lovin' on this month?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Glosses "Berry" and Raisin": These were a part of the Fall Mini Lip Gloss Set, and among 6 of the shades, these 2 are my favorites. Raisin is a medium/deep-ish mauve that's great for everyday wear, and Berry is flattering on all skin tones.

NYX The go-to Palette "Bon Voyage": The jewel-toned colors sparked my curiosity, so I picked it up at my local CVS. I particularly love the green and violet shades, especially on my lids or as a crease. The highlight has impressed me too, reminding me of Becca Opal. It is a very subtle glow. I picked this so that it would be easy to travel with, since it's all-in-one.

NARS Blush "Dolce Vita": I've been curious about this shade, so I finally got the courage to buy this. This is wonderful to wear for spring and fall. I can't stand Orgasm, this is so much better!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner: I've actually never owned this but have heard great stuff about it. I got this in the Play! by Sephora box this month, and I really really like how thin the tip is. This is perfect for a tightlined look. A lot of liquid liners I have are mostly thicker, but with this, it is so easy to create the illusion of fuller lashes and drama.

What has everyone been up to? I hope all is well! <3
