Monday Moans: Heatwave

So after saying in my Wednesday Wears post last week that we only get summer for a week in June or July there has been a heatwave all over England. It has been so warm that i have been able to get out all of my summer clothes and i have actually been leaving to house (meaning i didn't have a blog post prepared for today and this is being written immediately before it is posted).

However as a very fair skinned girl with hayfever i was not made to comply with the sun. The minute i leave the house i start to look like a tomato so whenever i am out i have to top up the factor 50 every 30 minutes or i burn badly. Additionally my hayfever has caused to me struggle with my eyes and my nose both streaming with tears and snot. My friends and those around me do not believe how bad both of these afflictions are. One of my best friends did not believe i burn as quickly as i do but learnt very quickly as after sitting outside for only an hour with no sunscreen on i had burnt my neck and chest area. I now have a tanned imprint of the necklace i was wearing on my chest, which does not look good. That was on the first day of the heatwave so at least i have learned my lesson now.

My general moan is not about the heatwave but about peoples reaction to the heatwave for some reason heat brings out the worst in people. People are so out to enjoy themselves that they forgot that other people are about for example when, for some reason, people think it is acceptable to play music where ever they want and as loud as they want. My neighbours love playing chart music as loud as they can so that everyone on my road can hear it, which i guess would be nice if we were all having a party or something but most of the time i am trying to sleep so it is annoying. Also when you are out relaxing by the sea or in a park or something someone will always have speakers playing music which no one wants to hear. Music is such a subjective topic and not everyone is going to like the obnoxious Dubstep played to the limit of the volume within the speakers. Don't even get my started on those people who like to play sport in the middle of a park whilst they have the potential to hit everyone sat around them. They are unpredictable and the ball will always find its way to hit me in the face.

So to sum it all up think about others whilst you are outside and enjoying the sun, it is one of the best part of the year and the time when you can meet lots of people so make the most of it but always be considerate to those around you.
