Kashmir by Milton Loyd

Nope! by Leo Bhanji
This is a sweet heady green spicy warm scent. It conjures up images of Middle Eastern heat, bazaars, thick linen to ward off heat, protecting your modesty and sheltering you from sand storms and the chill of moonlit nights. It's dry, heavy, earthy, mossy and also as light as an Oasis breeze in the Sahara.
This is certainly a perfumes perfume. There's no mistake that a woman is around when wearing this although with the right leathery mossy notes pouring out, this could work nicely on a man. Rich and alluring this fragrance captures the imagination throughout its wear. Yet, over time it does lose its initial spiciness and turns into a green mossier and cooler woody scent that could happily sit beside the likes of Chanel No.19.

If you're into strong perfumes then you will like this. Alternatively, if you're afraid of being smelt from across the room and upsetting folks in your daily life that don't like perfumes (these people exist!) then get new friends/hang out in nicer places/find a career you actually like or .... save it for days when you can enjoy this beauty in the good company of yourself and those nearest and dearest to you that have good taste and want to enjoy life.

This was a blind buy in-store and admittedly when I first tried it, I felt it was quite strong even for me. Personally, I've never been into spicy scents and this reminded me of Timeless by Avon which was gifted long ago to me by a friend for Christmas. Timeless just like Kashmir is a Floral Chypre but to my teenage nose, it might as well have been an Oriental Chypre (not sure even now the exact difference). All I know is that when it comes to ages these types of scents seem more mature than immature hence, why as a teen I was a bit downhearted by the heavy scent. Yet, just like Kashmir, Timeless had something about it which I adored and that must've been the green mossy nature notes. So, if you find yourself jarring with a scents opening you're not alone. Scents have chords and sometimes it takes a little more time to fall in love with a scent and see its beauty.

I'm glad I have Kashmir in my collection, it's such a longlasting scent that stands out but also sits nicely in the backdrop. Is it the room that smells nice or is it the person or the fabric conditioner their using? This scent was made for curling up with a good book as well as facing the world.

I bought it for around £3.99 but, I'm not sure if I can get it anymore (I think the shop closed down) but, have no fear - Milton Loyd is now selling their perfumes online for £5. No, I'm not a rep but, if you want to pay me - feel free to do so.
