POP LINERS
---> If you're planning to add a dash of fun to your au naturel look, start with your eyes. Designers like Michael Kors and Donna Karan might have skipped the bright lips and heavy eye makeup, but their neon- colored eyeliners sure made a statement, especially against almost nude makeup. Bright eyeliners give a subtle flash of color that is not overpowering makes i want to rock this look every day!
HOW TO: An easy way to make your bright eyeliner stand out even more is to first libe with a white eyeliner. Then pick your favorites pop color, and apply it on top of the white liner with a slanted brush. Finish with two coats of mascara.
NATURAL WONDERS
---> Makeup artist take the au naturel route to radiance, giving models the faux barefaced look. Don't be fooled by it because it takes quite a few makeup tools to achieve the ' no makeup' look. The trick to looking fresh and flawless starts with a clean face and the right foundation for your skin tone.
HOW TO: First, even out your skin tone with the right foundations. Then conceal any flaws with a concealer followed by finishing powder for that matte look. To give your face a natural healthy, flushed look, choose the right shade of blusher. The fairer your skin, the lighter the blusher should be. Tap a little invincible loose powder under cheekbones to help define cheeks. Pick a lipstick shade that matches your lips, and press the color onto your lips with your fingertips. Lastly, apply just one coat of mascara, and you're good to go!
HALF- MOON NAILS
---> Think of this as a reverse French manicure. Pick two of your favorite colors from this season's palette, and paint the base into an oval shape/ Try this look for work two, but instead of going for bold colors, pick neutral hues.
HOW TO: Paint the whole nail with the lighter of the two colors. Once it's dry, apply oval- shaped stickers a the bottoms of the nails. Then paint the top halves with the darker color. Once dry, peel off the stickers and voila!
TWO- TONED LIPS
---> Lips this seasons were either neutral or super- bold using colors such as coral and fuchsia. Whay caught my attention were the lips at Holly Fulton show, where models had not one but two colored lipsticks on; i thought it was surprisingly wearable and pretty stunning as well! I have a feeling this will catch on fast this seasons.
HOW TO: Pick a magenta lip liner:; and fill in the outer corners of the lips. Choose a coral lipstick, and apply on the middle of your lips. Carefully blend the two colors with your fingertips, and let them merge seamlessly.
KNOTS- SO PERFECT!
---> I've witnessed the top knots and low buns for a few seasons, and this staple up do is not going anywhere any time soon. This seasons, knots and buns are much sleeker and m ore complicated. Perfect for work or for play, the look is suitable for any type of hair that is shoulder length or longer.
HOW TO: Depending on your preference (low ponytail for a low knot and high ponytail for a high knot) , secure the ponytail with a tie. Twist or wrap your ponytail around the hair tie to create a smooth knot, and secure with a second hair tie. Use bobby pins to secure loose ends. For a sleeker and more polished knot, mist hair all over with a light holding spray, and smoothen strays with your hands.
